In this Intro to Book Binding workshop, we will cover the basics of the Pamphlat stitch, hand stitching a “junk journal” beginner book using all recycled materials! All supplies are provided.

(with a 15-20 Minute Lunch Break, bring your own lunch)

Supplies Provided: Waxed Linen thread, paper, Instructions and Templates provided.
Tools to share-provided include: Fabric Scissors, paper, needles, awl, clips, etc.

Hosted at Observable Universe in Ample Storage in North Durham (Just beyond the intersection of E. Club and N. Roxboro). The Swamp Witch Pop-up Shop is open for shopping during workshop hours.

Cancellation Policy: Attendees must sign up by the day before the lesson. 2 people must be signed up by the day before, if only one person is signed up- workshop is subject to cancellation (signup with a friend!). Instructor reserves the right to cancel or postpone workshops for personal reasons. Students will be notified via email of any cancellations. If the workshop is canceled, students will receive a full refund in 4-5 business days.
